Timex Fit Smartwatch

The Timex Fit Smartwatch has given a 35mm rectangular plastic case. It features a 1.3” color full touchscreen display with a resolution of 240×240 pixels. The display quality is just satisfactory compared to the AMOLED screen of Amazfit GTS 2 mini, which is also available at the same price.

Moreover, it has a larger bezel which engulfs the screen’s real-estate further, and consequently, it decreases the user experience. It also has a virtual home button on the screen like Mi Smart Band 5.

Health Tracking Features

The Timex Fit watch comes with plenty of impressive health benefits such as automatic temperature monitoring, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level monitoring (SpO2). Automated temperature monitoring is a helpful feature, especially in the current COVID-19 situation.

If you are looking for a skin temperature monitoring smartwatch, you do not have many options. The Fitbit Sense does come with temperature monitoring along with an ECG App. However, it costs you more than ₹25,000 rupees in India

Furthermore, it also has Telemedicine features powered by the Dr. Consultation Platform. It allows you to book a doctor’s appointment from the Timex Fit App, which you can download from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. It can automatically track your sleep, but we haven’t yet tested it for accuracy.

Fitness Tracking Features

The Timex Fit Smartwatch comes with 10 goal-based activity tracking modes such as running, cycling, tennis, badminton, basketball, hiking, and gym workouts. Unfortunately, it does not have a built-in GPS. Consequently, you need to carry your smartphone along with you for location tracking.

As of now, we do not know about its waterproofing capabilities. Also, it does not feature a swimming mode. It will be a great disappointment if it is not a waterproof smartwatch. Even Amazfit Bip U smartwatch comes with a waterproof rating of 5 ATMs which costs just half of the new Timex Fit Watch.

The Timex Fit watch comes with a battery that can last for six days after a full recharge.

Smart Features

  • Sedentary reminder
  • Smartphone app notifications: You can customize it at the Timex Fit App
  • Call and SMS alerts
  • Find my phone
  • Alarm, stocp clock and timer
  • 10+ watch faces: It also allows you to set your photo as a watch face.

The Timex Fit Smartwatch is available in two versions. The Metal band model costs you 500 rupees more than the silicon strap variant. You can buy a smartwatch from Timex’s online or offline store in India.

Color: Black Mesh, Black and Rose Gold Mesh(Metalic)

Final Verdict

Unfortunately, the Timex Smartwatch did not impress us at this price. If you require an automatic temperature monitoring smartwatch, then you can go for this smartwatch. All other features are available on smartwatches that cost less than ₹ 5000 in India.

The Doctor consultation app also failed to impress us as booking a doctor’s appointment is not a big deal in 2021. Amazfit Bip U Pro or Amazfit GTS 2 would be the right choice over the Timex Fit watch.

I hope this Timex Fit Smartwatch review covers all the features and specs. Now the decision is yours. Let us know your thoughts on the Timex Fit watch in the comment section.
