Finally, the Mi Smart Band 6 is officially launched in China today at a starting price of ¥ 29 However, the global release date not decided yet. It is available in 6 color varients.
The Mi Smart Band 6 is larger than its predecessor Mi Smart Band 5. The Mi Band 5 comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen with a 126*294 pixel.
Whereas, the new Mi Smart Band 5 comes with an even larger screen (1.56-inch) with AMOLED display with a resolution of 152-486 pixels. As a result, you can expect a nice viewing experience with the Mi Smart Band 6.
The Mi Smart Band 6 comes without a button. This means that you should use the touchscreen to control the device.

The number of activity modes increased from 11 to 30 in Mi Smart Band 6 including indoor fitness, HIIT, Cricket, Zumba, badminton, boxing, etc. In addition to that it automatically detects 6 activities such as walking, running, treadmill, cycling, rowing, and cross trainer.
The Mi Smart Band 6 comes with a battery life of 14 days and now you can conveniently charge it with magnetic charging doc. This is a convenient upgrade from the previous models.
Like previous models, the Mi Band 6 is waterproof up to 50 meters. So, you can use it while swimming or taking a bath.
In a nutshell: There is no much difference between both the devices. The significant changes are in the display size and also the number of sport modes.
If you are looking for a budget fitness tracker under $50, it is worth checking out. However, if you already have a Mi Smart Band 5, then think twice before upgrading the device.
