The two Chinese giants are once again competing against each other to provide the best fitness Band. Xiaomi launched its Mi Band 6 a few months ago with some decent upgrades over the Mi Band 5.

Similarly, Huawei introduced several new changes and launched the Huawei Band 6 last week. Both the fitness bands offer similar functionality and features, but they differ in some aspects.

Huawei Band 6 comes with a bigger and broader AMOLED display of 1.47-inch having 194 x 368 pixels resolution. Meanwhile, the Mi Band 6 houses a pill-shaped 1.56-inch AMOLED display sporting 152 x 486 pixels resolution. However, the pixel density of Mi Band 6 stands at 326PPI and Huawei Band 6 gets a bit blurred with 282 Pixel Density.

It’s up to the user’s preference whether they like broader displays or are comfortable with the pill-shaped displays. The pixel density hardly matters in real-time usage.

Huawei Band 6 measures 43 x 25.4 x 10.99mm. In size and measures 25 grams in weight. Whereas the Mi Band 6 measures 47.4 x 18.6 x 12.7mm in size and weighs 13 grams. Huawei Band 6 is available in three different colors: Amber Sunrise, Forest Green, and Graphite Black. Xiaomi is actively advertising and pushing users for custom watch faces. It even offers around 130+ watch faces for the Mi Band 6. Meanwhile, around 60+ Mi Band 6 watches can be used by a global audience. However, Huawei Band 6 also supports custom watch faces and has a dedicated Face Store.

Both the smart bands are pretty energy-efficient and can sustain for several days upon a single full charge. To be precise, both the smart bands offer up to 14 days of standby and support magnetic charging. Huawei band 6 can work for a couple of days with just 5 minutes of charging.

Price

Huawei Band 6 comes with a price tag of 216 Yuan, which equals $33. It is currently available only in China as a global launch is awaited. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 standard edition retails for the price of RMB229, which roughly translates to $35. However, the Mi Band 6 NFC variant costs around RMB279 (~$42).
